About
About me:
Suffice it to say that I am sixteen years old, a D.C. resident, a reluctant unschooler, and something of a nerd. I like to refer to myself as a “tool of the Establishment,” and, for the most part, it’s true. I have nothing against labels per se, but I’d rather not provide any more for you: if you read this blog long enough, I’m sure you can figure them out yourself.
About the blog:
I don’t pretend to have any sort of overarching purpose. For more information, follow this link.
I do hope, however, to inject some genuine debate and hard-nosed honesty into the online unschooling world. To that end, I will be as obnoxious about my education as possible. Enjoy.
Hi Sarah,
Read about you in Bethesda Magzine. I was wondering if you would ever consider befirending/mentoring a future you? I have a 7 year old going on 25 year old daughter who is highly gifted in the language arts and could use a mentor at some point.
She is in first grade at a public ES school. She finds school totally boring and will probably need to be homeschooled at some point. She thinks that point is already now, but I think school provides good socialization.
Any interest? We live in Kensington just Norht of the beltway.
